Sub-Bid or Direct

Your Concrete Partner for Concrete Coatings & Painting

A slab is only half-finished the day it's poured. What goes on top of it-or doesn't-determines how it holds up to forklift traffic, chemical spills, foot traffic, and North Texas weather over the next fifteen years. Coatings are cheap insurance against a much more expensive slab replacement.

We apply coatings as part of our own concrete scope on new pours, and we take standalone coating subcontracts on existing slabs for property owners and general contractors who need a finish system without repouring the floor underneath. Warehouse and industrial floors get epoxy or polyaspartic systems rated for forklift traffic and chemical resistance; retail and office floors get decorative or sealed finishes that hold up to foot traffic and look right doing it.

Exterior work covers curb painting for fire lanes and ADA compliance, tilt-wall panel sealing and caulking, and decorative concrete sealers for plazas and walkways. Denton County's freeze-thaw swings and summer heat both work against unsealed exterior concrete, so we spec sealers rated for the temperature range this market actually sees rather than a generic product.

Our coating and painting scope includes surface prep-grinding, shot blasting, or acid etching depending on the existing slab condition-because a coating only lasts as long as its bond to the concrete underneath. We don't apply finish systems over concrete that hasn't been properly prepped, since that's the single biggest cause of coating failure in industrial and commercial floors.

We also run moisture vapor testing before coating older slabs, particularly on properties near Denton County's clay-heavy soil, where subsurface moisture can push through a slab and delaminate a coating within months if it isn't addressed with the right primer system first.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions About Concrete Coatings & Painting

How long do epoxy floor coatings last in an industrial setting?

A properly prepped and applied epoxy or polyaspartic system typically holds up 7-15 years under forklift traffic, depending on wheel type, chemical exposure, and traffic volume. Surface prep quality is the biggest factor in coating lifespan.

Can you coat an existing slab without repouring it?

In most cases, yes. As long as the existing slab is structurally sound and doesn't have moisture vapor issues, we can grind or shot blast the surface and apply a coating system without replacing the concrete underneath.

Do you handle both interior floors and exterior curb painting?

Yes. We run interior epoxy and polyaspartic floor programs and exterior curb, fire lane, and tilt-wall sealing work-often on the same property under one maintenance contract.
